Product Description
Fire Retardant Vibration-Absorbing Plywood is a specialized engineered wood product designed to provide superior fire resistance and vibration damping in various construction and industrial applications. Manufactured with a unique combination of fire-retardant treatments and vibration-absorbing materials, this plywood is ideal for environments where safety, stability, and noise reduction are paramount. The fire retardant properties of this plywood help prevent the spread of flames, offering an extra layer of protection in case of fire incidents. Additionally, the vibration-absorbing characteristics significantly reduce structural vibrations, contributing to quieter and more stable installations.
Production Features:
Our Fire Retardant Vibration-Absorbing Plywood is manufactured using cutting-edge technology and top-quality materials. Each layer of the plywood is impregnated with advanced fire-retardant chemicals, ensuring consistent protection against fire hazards. Additionally, the plywood is engineered with specialized vibration-absorbing materials sandwiched between the layers. This unique construction method significantly reduces the transmission of vibrations, making it suitable for use in noise-sensitive and vibration-prone environments.
Characteristics
- Fire Resistance: Treated with advanced fire-retardant chemicals that significantly slow down the combustion process, providing valuable time for evacuation and fire containment.
- Vibration Absorption: Engineered to dampen and absorb vibrations, making it an excellent choice for applications requiring noise reduction and structural stability.
- Durability: High strength and resistance to wear and tear, ensuring long-lasting performance even in demanding conditions.
- Moisture Resistance: Offers good resistance to moisture, making it suitable for use in environments where humidity levels may be high.
- Environmentally Friendly: Produced using sustainable materials and processes, meeting environmental standards for responsible manufacturing.
Types of Surface
The surface of our plywood can be customized to suit various functional and aesthetic needs.
Options include Not Sanded (NS), which provides a raw finish, and Both Sides Sanded (S2), which offers a smoother, finished surface on both sides.
Additionally, we offer overlays with High-Pressure Laminate (HPL), Continuous Pressure Laminate (CPL), or fiberglass, which enhance the durability and appearance of the plywood.
These surface treatments provide added protection and can be tailored to specific applications, ensuring the plywood meets both visual and performance standards.
Areas of Application:
This plywood is versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications:
- Construction: Ideal for walls, floors, and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings, particularly in areas where fire safety and noise control are critical.
- Industrial: Suitable for use in factories and warehouses, where machinery vibrations need to be minimized, and fire safety is a priority.
- Transportation: Perfect for use in the construction of vehicles, such as trains, buses, and ships, where fire retardancy and vibration absorption are essential.
- Soundproofing Projects: Excellent for studios, theaters, and other venues where noise reduction is necessary.
- Marine Industry: Well-suited for use in the construction of boats and ships due to its moisture resistance and fire-retardant properties.

Available Gradations:
Fire Retardant Vibration-Absorbing Plywood is available in several gradations, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your specific needs:
- В/BB: A high-quality grade with a smooth surface, ideal for visible applications where aesthetics are important.
- BB/BB: A versatile grade with a balanced surface quality on both sides, suitable for general use.
- BB/CP: Offers one high-quality side and one slightly lower quality side, perfect for projects where one side will be visible.
- BB/C: Features one high-quality surface and one utility-grade surface, ideal for applications where only one side is exposed.
- CP/CP: Consistent quality on both sides, typically used in industrial applications.
- CP/C: One side with a moderate finish and the other with a lower finish, useful for non-visible applications.
- C/C: Utility grade on both sides, cost-effective for structural uses where appearance is not a concern.
Each grade provides varying levels of surface quality and structural integrity, allowing you to choose the right plywood for your project’s demands. Whether you need a high-quality finish or a more functional surface, our grading options offer the flexibility to match your specific requirements.
Material and Adhesive Specifications
Our Fire Retardant Vibration-Absorbing Plywood is made from high-quality materials, including birch, cork, and rubber. These materials are selected for their durability and effectiveness.
The adhesive used is phenol-formaldehyde, known for its strong bonding properties and resilience.
The plywood adheres to low formaldehyde emission standards, ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 mg/m² х h, which is significantly lower than the norm of 3.5 mg/m² х h. This ensures a healthier indoor environment.
The plywood also maintains a moisture content of 5-10%, which helps prevent warping and ensures stability.
Weight and Packaging
Our plywood is available in packages weighing between 400 and 950 kilograms, accommodating various project sizes and logistical needs.
This weight range ensures that the plywood is easy to handle and transport, whether for small or large-scale applications.
The packaging is designed to protect the plywood during transit and storage, preserving its quality and performance until it arrives at its destination.

The images show how the plywood approximately looks. The plywood sheets may differ from the photographs below within the ambit of permissible defects. Each grade has its own permissible defects, check with your manager for details.
Grade B/B, B/BB plywood is used in furniture production and interior and exterior decorating. If the appearance of the sheets and maximum strength are crucial for your objectives, it’s best to choose grade B, which also has the tightest technical control when it comes to production. Only minor defects are permissible.
Grade BB/BB, BB/CP is mainly used as a flooring base or as various furniture elements, and also as a foundation for laminated plywood.
Grade CP is perfect for designs where the appearance isn’t the primary concern or ones hidden from view. It’s used to make packaging materials or flooring backer boards. The prevalence of noticeable defects is higher compared to better grades.
Grade C is reserved for products where the appearance doesn’t matter at all. There may be quite a few visually noticeable defects. That being said, we still guarantee the veneers are properly glued together. Suitable to be used as packaging since, despite the low-tier grade, the plywood is still water-resistant and strong.
